Well, I’ve been doing this a long time. Way back in the early 80’s, I helped my dad set up his Franklin Ace computer, which was a clone of the Apple II. I learned 6502 assembly language on that computer, which helped me quite a bit in later years. All through college, I was the go-to guy for computer help–everything from picking out a new PC to helping faculty and staff members figure out how to use a word processor to setting up the college’s first Novell network. And data recovery was there back then too–I spent an entire night recovering someone’s term paper from a bad floppy disk, copying sector by sector to the hard drive using a nibble editor. This all sounds archaic and old-school, but it gave me a really good base in computers–what they do, how they go bad, and how to get your stuff back.

Fast forward to the present, and you’ve got a guy who consults for business computer needs, recommends purchases, performs data recovery from bad hard drives and does the very best for his customers.

Sherrill(Pei-Chih) Verbrugge, 1998 Computer Science Graduates of Calvin College

I enjoy working with computers. Technology changes very quickly. It is great to be able to keep learning. The fast pace facinates me. Computers and softwares take people and organizations to a different level. Time and distance disappear. I still get excited when I use my internet IP phone to talk to my family in Taiwan and when I get a reply for an email message that I sent a minute ago. I feel fulfilled when I use my computer skills to solve problems for people and to create solution that people need.
